Description: Seminar, three hours. Requisite: satisfaction of Entry-Level Writing requirement. Freshmen/sophomores preferred. Examination of various Western mythologies, from countryside to wilderness, as expressed across art, architecture, planning, and landscape architecture. Consideration of their role in inscribing racial hierarchies and shaping--culturally, aesthetically, spatially, and legally--white identity and structures of white supremacy. Letter grading.
