Biomedical Data Analysis
Description: Lecture, four hours. Preparation: at least one elementary course in probability or statistics that included basic probability, elementary distributions, hypothesis testing, and confidence intervals; knowledge of elementary calculus. Familiarity with elementary matrix algebra and previous programming experience are strongly preferred. Quantity and quality of observations have been greatly affected by present-day extensive use of computers. Problem-oriented study of latest methods in statistical data analysis and use of such arising in laboratory and clinical research. S/U or letter grading.
