Fall 2016 - Love this cluster, but man.... Professor Le Goff gives the most boring and pointless lectures... and then the material from her lectures that are on the midterms aren't even things she focused on during her lectures. It will be an obscure question like, when was abortion legal and then it'll give 5 weird answers none of which are straightforward. I really wish she was removed from this cluster, because I really love it except for her.

Fall 2016 - Professor Panofsky loves corny jokes and going overtime. If that's something you can't bear with, too bad cuz you're stuck with him anyway if you're taking the cluster. Wouldn't say I disliked him, I really does try his best to engage the class in a discussion and present the information clearly. However, he often goes a bit off topic or tries to fit too much information in too little time left. So you'll often see him in the beginning of the next lecture (with a different professor) trying to finish up his presentation from the previous lecture in "just 5 minutes" and actually taking 20-30 minutes from the other professor's time which I personally found a bit disrespectful. Despite all that, Professor Panofsky presents information well and accordingly to his learning outcomes, which helps during midterm/final revision. Overall I'd probably rate him 3.9/5...

Fall 2021 - Strongly recommend the cluster with this prof. In my opinion, she was the clearest professor I've had so far at UCLA and a terrific lecturer in this cluster. As a non-bio (or STEM) major, I've been able to follow and understand all of Prof. Rensell's lectures to the T. They are clear, concise, and the learning objectives and structure of her lectures help people follow along and know exactly what knowledge we need to learn for the final exam. Terrific professor!

Fall 2019 - Dr. Vaughn literally taught me nothing. Her lectures were extremely disorganized and not engaging at all. She would just rant on and on about some random tangent every single lecture. She would always come to lecture with about 60 slides prepared and only get through 40 of them... Then, we had to watch EXTRA lecture videos on CCLE AFTER lecture so that she could finish her stupid powerpoint presentation. Every time it was Vaughn's turn to lecture, I just put in my airpods and pulled up YouTube.
