Fall 2019 - This was the first education class I took and I would definitely take it again. I enjoyed the class' structure and appreciated how much help I received from my TA. Every week, we completed a reading guide and posted a reflection on our discussion board. The reading guides were basically there to make sure you did the reading. If we didn't have the guides, I probably would not do the readings. The reflections were a great addition to the class because you could read how other people in your class felt about certain questions/ideas. There were two "Big Ideas" essays and I thought they were relatively easy, as I received a ton of feedback from my TA. GO TO OFFICE HOURS! We also had to attend a public talk (about education) before the quarter ended and wrote about it. As for our last assignment, it was a policy analysis group project. It was simpler than I thought it would be because my group worked well together. We basically just assigned each other a page to do and completed it pretty fast.
