Description: Seminar, three hours. Requisite: satisfaction of Entry-Level Writing requirement. Freshmen/sophomores preferred. Introduction to formation of children's attitudes about their own and other social groups (e.g., gender, race/ethnicity, social class) during elementary school years including how home and school contexts influence their ideas and beliefs about these groups. Letter grading.
