Very Comfortable class, Only 3 essays However, because it is only a prerequisite, not many students normally show up. English Comp A is technically 4 units which don't actually count. Also the grade you receive at the end of the quarter does not count in your gpa. Beiderwell is very understanding and concerned about both stances of an argument while incorporating "they say/I say" into essays. He also uses many articles from news and tabloids in order to expand essay topics and his students ideas. Professor Beiderwell is a very laid back and confident choice for Eng Comp A.

COURSE TAKEN: Postmodern Culture (Honors). Greg is easily one of the most engaging teachers on campus. He is insightful and hilarious, and you learn a lot without even knowing it. Class feels fun and open, while at the same time it's rigorous enough to significantly improve your writing. His postmodern culture class was challenging, and it articulated a lot of things I was curious about. Ever since I took it, it's been my favorite class. I highly recommend taking a class with Greg, he has standards that he'll encourage you to meet without stress, and you'll be amazed at your own capabilities. And he makes class a blast.
