Mestizaje and Memory in Americas
Description: Seminar, four hours. Designed for College Honors students, but open to all majors. Rotation of Earth imposed diurnal oscillations of physical changes on all living organisms on Earth. Protein complexes, called circadian or biological clock, allow organisms to anticipate and adapt to daily environmental changes, and knowledge of it comes from molecular biology, biochemistry, cell biology, genetics, and genomics. Study of these processes and interdisciplinary methodologies to understand how biological clock works and how it affects health and well-being. P/NP or letter grading.

Class was interesting, to say the least. Class consisted of 2 page reports of the readings (1.5 spaced) every week, presentations of the readings, 5 page midterm (1.5 spaced), and an 8 page final (1.5 spaced). Selling the course reader for a good price! Let me know egyptiangirl16@ucla.edu
