Summer 2016 - Dr. Dauer is one of the fewest professors that care about his students' success, their futures, and any of their course concerns. At first I was a bit intimidated by the course description (because of the many requirements in order to take the class). However, I was heavily surprised and relieved to learn that the class is pleasantly different from all of my expectations. I learned more because of his interesting lectures and I also engaged more with the course concepts because of how I had grown to become deeply interested in biotechnology such as cardiovascular stents (for example). Please take Dr. Dauer's class whenever you find the chance! No matter how much information he throws at you, it is interesting as heck and totally worth it.
