I took Professor Cheng for Psych 121. Yes, she can be hard to understand at times. Yes, sometimes she speaks in terms where words feel like they're flying over your head. BUT, she is a sweetheart. She tries her best to help her students and when you do not understand something or has a question all you have to do is ask her and she'll try to help. Professor Cheng was very hands on and helpful with our experiment. I didn't think I would like the class very much at first but I ended up really enjoying myself and ended up with an A in the class. The class itself isn't all that difficult if you are willing to put in the time and effort in your papers and experiment. Professor Cheng makes it clear that she's not looking for ground breaking research but just that we understand the concepts of experimental research in regards to cognitive behavior. If you're a student willing to learn and have just a little bit of determination to do well, definitely do not avoid this class with Professor Cheng. She's great

Prof. Firstenberg is amazing. Her lectures were so interesting that I literally didn't want class to end an hour early (which it did without fail). The test is straightforward and she's really lenient with the projects. I learned so much in this class, and I would recommend it to everyone.
