Winter 2016 - Seriously love Professor Ankowski. She is a great lecturer and really makes this class interesting. It's an interesting topic to begin with, but you really do learn a lot about children, which I find important to keep in mind as we move forward and start thinking about having a family. Off point. She is actually funny and really well-versed in her field of work, but if you're taking this class, take it with Professor Ankowski!

really great teacher. she really wants her students to understand what she's teaching. she's great during office hours. there is a very short paper in discussion and you get points just for attending discussion. tests are not hard at all and despite the fact that she stresses how important the information in the book is for the test, i didn't open the book once all quarter and still got an A.

Professor Fuligni is an excellent teacher. Although her lectures are very faced paced and you tend to leave with a hand cramp, you are guaranteed to stay awake. She shows concern and is willing to meet with you outside of class. I am already enrolled in her next class and suggest that UCLA look into giving her a full-time position.

Winter 2019 - This has been my favorite class so far at UCLA. Dr. Goff is an amazing professor and has amazing lectures and uses funny and engaging examples to help students understand. I wanted to go to a lecture every day and enjoyed all of the topics I learned in this class. The hardest part is the group project just because it's hard to have others' work count as your own. Would take this class again in a heartbeat. The only downside is the class is out of 150 points which means you need to do well on the tests but they aren't hard and you can drop one of the two midterms. There is also extra credit you can earn by participating in studies on campus. Go to her office hours the day before the exam because they are very helpful. 10/10 recommend to anyone debating this class.

Professor Johnson is one of the best Psychology professors! I really enjoyed the class (even though I may have fallen asleep several times, but I do this in EVERY class unfortunately...) if you are interested in developmental psychology, this is the best class to take as it gives you an introduction to it and is not overwhelming. It was a fairly easy class, just make sure you pay attention to lectures as most of the exam questions are from here. There are several odd-ball questions from the reading book, and honestly, I did not read but skimmed it and still managed to get an A-. This may be because he does drop your lowest score if I remember correctly, and there is a generous curve. My FAVORITE PART OF CLASS was when he showed us video clips of the experiments he was talking about. He also likes to show graphs. If you are a visual person, this class is great since he incorporates visuals. Great class! I would definitely recommend. He is also a very funny and SARCASTIC guy. His jokes are funny and he is even great if you have him for his honors discussion for this class. Unfortunately, I had to drop it, but my friend said he shared a lot about his personal life and it was just fun to listen to it and get to know the professor outside of lecture.

I took 137G. great lecturer great class. after taking this class, I feel like the field deserves much more research and exploration. The materials you learn from this class are fascinating and it's just amazing how you take a neurological base approach into social psychology phenomena. The exam questions were easy but this quarter (spring 2013) was his first time teaching 137G. So I can't guarantee the exam questions will not get any harder. But he gives opportunities for extra credit. overall, great class, and I highly recommend this class. grade: A+
