Principles of Behavioral Pharmacology

Description: Lecture, four hours. Intensive analysis of drug, brain, and behavior relationships. Discussion of nature and source of drugs, general aspects of pharmacology, neurotransmitters and basic neuropharmacology, principles of behavioral pharmacology, categories of psychopharmacological agents, and pharmacological approaches to study of drug addiction, schizophrenia, and other behavioral processes, both normal and pathological. S/U or letter grading.
