Fall 2015 - I loved American Racism! It was a great course. Dr. Prager speaks organically so nothing is really planned. Some people would find it disorganized, but I found it really natural and made me feel more comfortable. I went to his office hours every week and truly enjoyed him. He cares about his students and often asked about the quality of his lectures. There is A LOT of reading, but it's all really interesting and not necessarily required. You just need to have a solid grasp of what the author is saying in the writing for the midterm and final. Both the midterm and final are easy if you understand the readings. The readings are not complicated at all. I got an A- in the class and left with a greater sociological understanding of racism in America. Also, I had Amberia as my TA and she's beautiful and amazing. Definitely a course I wish I could take again!
