Intermediate Spanish
Description: Lecture, three hours; laboratory, two hours. Taught in Spanish. Laboratory is online. Intermediate Spanish language and culture course designed to increase communicative ability. Acquisition of cultural competence and introduction to study of literature. Comprehension of conversations and stretches of connected discourse, reading of texts with minimum use of dictionary, writing with increased grammatical accuracy and control of sentence structure, coherence, and text organization, talking about past, present, and future events, and expression of preferences, feelings, beliefs, and opinions. P/NP or letter grading.

Fall 2019 - The professor really cares about the students understanding the material. The course load is focused on the online textbook workbook which is easy/busy work. The only annoying thing is the speaking portion of the midterm and final, but those are in all language classes.
