Fall 2020 - Please keep in mind that I took this course during the time of COVID-19 so it was all virtual. Lectures were all pre-recorded so you could watch them on your own time. No textbook is required, but there are some assigned pdf readings for some weeks. There were ten assignments (one for each week) and no midterms or finals. Some of the assignments were one-page reports just showing that you can use Praat (the program you use throughout the course) and others were a short quiz. Simple stuff, though some concepts are a bit confusing, however professor is more than willing to help! Easy and fun class, highly recommend!

Fall 2019 - This class was one of the easiest Comm classes I've taken. Your grade is based on one weekly, 400 word assignment, and your lowest grade is dropped. There is no midterm or final, or a group project. The lectures are super interesting even though the professor tends to ramble at times. To accompany the weekly 400 word assignment is one reading that the professor posts on CCLE, so there is no cost to taking this class. Overall I learned valuable information and I thought the grading was extremely generous.
