For a 3 unit class, 14bl is way too much work. Don't bother going to class, but make sure you do the practice exercises that Russell puts up on CCLE. The midterm and final aren't too hard if you do the study questions and practice exercises.
The class itself is not as much difficult as time consuming. Each week the pre and post labs take multiple hours if done completely, on top of the lab itself. The lab lectures, on the other hand, are rather pointless. The material is covered in the packets handed out at the beginning of lecture and for the most part, the information is introductory chemistry. But Russell is very sweet and truly tries, the material is simply not that difficult.
Selling graded labs (A grade) for this class. Also have sets of practice questions for the midterms and final, as well as 2 actual past midterms that I can throw in.

It's been ten weeks and I'm not really sure if I've learned anything... The lectures are way too concept-based for the tests and labs to be so math/formula based. I would definitely recommend taking this class right after 14B so the concepts are fresh in your mind. With this new curriculum of being very based in GenChem concepts, it was hard taking it a year after 14B. The lecture slides are not very helpful and neither is lecture, not really sure how to learn things other than google because the lab textbook only has so much information.
