Professor Feramisco is so kind and helpful! Her class is structured really clearly and well outlined in the syllabus, so it's easy to follow along. Since the class is about marketing specifically, I felt like this was one of the most practical classes I've taken at UCLA. Though she goes into theory behind why certain marketing tactics work, the class culminates in a group project where you actually devise an integrated marketing communications plan for a business (one you make up with your group), which is a very hands-on way to learn the material. At first, she may seem picky when it comes to grading, but she leaves really thorough feedback and is willing to let you resubmit assignments you felt you could improve on. Ultimately, she's very supportive as a professor and I highly recommend taking this class if you're at all interested in exploring marketing as a career.
