Cisca Brier is one-of-a-kind! Ah...I mean her class is all well and fine, and she's very cool in-class, just never say you're Catholic or German, it's a curse I think. She said, 'o my how you improved!' and I did and then got a D. I don't know how it happened, I'm not sure exactly what kind of grading system she fosters, but she makes it easier than it really is. I'm kind of mad, but nonetheless, will have to repeat her class!

Attendance is important to her. She is an incredible person who really guides you to develop a love of learning Dutch. This professor has a good feel for class temperament and knows when to push and when to back off. She's very compassionate. Just make sure you actually show up! (Dutch 103A)
