Quarter: Fall 2021
Grade: A
Dec. 15, 2021

This is the best class I have ever taken at UCLA. Professor Stanford was so helpful and made us feel engaged with everything that we read. The course is divided into three sections: Poetry, Non-Fiction, and Fiction. With every class, there are reading notes due (which honestly don't take more than twenty minutes) and a small writing exercise. The workload is extremely light and if you need a writing II definitely take this! The class size was around 20 people, something that I really liked compared to my usual 100+ size. Everyone was so encouraging and truly interested in hearing other people's work. TAKE THIS CLASS!!

Note: You have to submit a brief 250 word application, and will hear back from the instructor at the very beginning of the quarter if you got a PTE number. I suggest enrolling in a different class, and then dropping it if you do get in.
