Spring 2020 - astro 3 with professor petigura was amazing! I liked his lectures and the workload wasn't bad and the material was interesting but above all he was really helpful and caring throughout the entire quarter. our midterm was 24 hr and open note; our final was optional, 48 hr, open note, no harm. the exams were kinda hard though. I also liked that he recorded lectures and uploaded them on ccle. labs were fine, a bit difficult sometimes but the ta (alec) helped a lot. I wouldn't say the class is an easy a but it's also not super intense or anything. either way, astronomy is interesting as hell and I would definitely recommend :)

Fall 2020 - 70A was really fun! Topics were a little difficult to understand at first, but I got them once I rewatched the lectures on CCLE afterwards to prepare for the bi-weekly quizzes. Profs stayed behind for office hours after each lecture which was really helpful in understanding what we just learned from the lecture.

Winter 2022 - Okay but seriously, this quarter was significantly harder than the last because of the pace of lectures, Petigura and Brown consistently went over time to cram as much as they could in the 75 minutes. Readings are lowkey useless, so just try to skim them and finish them for lab points, but REALLY pay attention in lecture because the quizzes can kick your butt if you don't keep up
