Winter 2019 - Had no problem with the professor, just make sure you get a competent TA. I'm currently on week seven and have only been to two sections due to the TA canceling 5 discussions. Otherwise, count on learning the material yourself or go to office hours.

It was his first time teaching this course (at least in a while?), and it was still amazing! Very organized, great reading selections (and not an overwhelming amount), very fair tests and grading. And more than that, his lectures are fun! Interesting to listen to.

This is not your average group communication. It isn't like group communication class I have ever taken. I felt like I was in a science class, not a communication class. The material of this class really disappointed me and Bryant's lectures are way too fast. He needs to slow down, and he doesn't explain things very clearly. He also has an arrogance to him that I did not find appealing either. Overall, I would not recommend taking this class or professor. But on the flip side, I do know some people who absolutely love him. So, it really is a matter of taste.
