Good professor, explains materials fairly clear. But the workload is extremely heavy, and the quizzes particularly annoying. Spent over 20 hours each week on homework, reviewing for quizzes and final, but when you get through them, you learn a lot.
This is not an easy class. If you take it, it will consume your life. He is a set theorist, so he cares about every little detail. Everything must be cited in your homework. That being said, by the end you learn a heck of a lot of analysis. If you take this class, know what you are getting into. Also, he likes to construct the reals. I liked it although it was tough, but not all teachers do this as I have heard. If you aren't into that, construction of reals is a fundamental part of the class.
