Quarter: Spring 2019
Grade: A+
June 13, 2019

Janna is one of my favorite professors at UCLA. For this class, there are no midterms or finals, just 2 short papers and one longer final paper. She also lets you revise them and have them be regraded if you aren't happy about the grade. Most people get A's. Attendance is required and the class is super interactive so it challenges you to put yourself out there a bit. The class does require 3 field visits which can be challenging to find time but you'll learn a lot about different communities and education in the US.
