Cluster M1B was a little harder and more "science-y" than M1A, but definitely worth continuing on if you took the first part of the cluster. Professor Jay and Shaked are both very sweet, accommodating professors who genuinely care about student's learning. The only knock on this class is the content as it is significantly less interesting (to me) than the previous quarter.
If you took M1A, definitely continue with M1B. I recommend this class to any non-environmental majors who are interested in the environment because it is a great way to knock out science GEs and it is pretty interesting. What I liked most about this class was that all professors were extremely accommodating during covid and made each student feel like they mattered. This cluster felt like a real community :) Professor Jennifer taught the class for the first half of the quarter, and Professor Shanna taught it for the second. Both were more confusing and the topics were more complicated than M1A, but overall still pretty easy.
