Winter 2020 - This class was really interesting and engaging; every lecture was structured as a discussion, and the articles we read/movies we watched were all really eye-opening. Workload was not too much: five short essays spaced out over the quarter, and one final ~5 page research paper. I was nervous to take this class because I thought the workload might be too much and I needed an easy GE. However, I am so glad that I took it and would definitely recommend this class! Everyone should have the opportunity to learn about all of the ethical and political issues surrounding the food that we eat! Also Aaron Montenegro is a super chill and interesting TA!!
