AVOID THIS CLASS!!! She is the worst professor I have EVER had at UCLA. Extremely unorganized and not attentive to students' needs. And more than that the topic was not at all as interesting as I thought it would be. Reading the book and course reader served no purpose because all test questions can from her unorganized lectures. I don't know how in the world she got to teach at such an amazing university, but she needs to be fired.

screw comparing this course to a high school class. more like 3rd grade! so juvenile. sport psych is a class where you get divided into "teams" and 1/2 the lecture is spent sitting around in your group talking about how stupid the class is. my favorite part of each lecture is when she flickers the lights to tell us to simmer down our intense conversations. oh, and she takes attendence in lecutre. or at least says she will to get people to come to class, then never does. take this class, but don't expect to reach any profound insights about the nature of sport and the relation to psychology. take it cause it's an easy upper div elective credit. the end.
