Selling the physics 6A book. I will give you a very fair price and am open to negotiations. Contact 714-3182437.

He's really nice and probably the most concerned professor I've ever had. He truly cares about the students learning the material. His test were reasonable. I didn't do so well on the first midterm (don't remember what I got) so I was pretty freaked out after that but he told the class several times not to panic. He said if you were panicking to make an individual appointment with him before your decide to drop or anything. He probably met at least half of the class individually so it took a lot of his time. Like I said though he's the most concerned professor I've had. Take him if you can!

Peroomian really wants you to do well. I think he once said he went to UCLA for his undergrad too so he knows how ridiculous the professors and system are, and he "had enough of that." Personally I like him bc his teaching is very effective. In class or review sess he always keeps up the pace so he can give you more examples to study from. He does not waste your time, which I really appreciate. His teaching style is very example-based, which works better than conceptual for me. Doing the hw alone (and taking it seriously) will probably prepare you for exams already. But Prof. Peroomian will make SURE you know what he's testing you. The problems he goes over at the reviews are exactly the types that will be on the test. He lets you bring in a cheat sheet for every exam, which is a privilege you won't have again in 6B and C! I started the Physics series w/ fear, bc I thought it would be too difficult for me, but Peroomian's class reassured me otherwise. I did unbelievably well, and I continued to do well in the physics classes after. This class serious = too good to be true.

Excellent professor. Couldn't ask for more from the class because he over prepared us for his final. He also pushed an exam back because it was on the same day as everyone's ochem midterm. Take him if you can.

Peroomian is the nicest teacher that I have ever had. He postponed a midterm knowing that everyone had a chem midterm that same day and for those who had problems with the postponed date, he would allow them to make special arrangements as to avoid a double midterm day. Doesn't get much nicer than this! He definitely doesn't mind having lots of A's just as long as everyone understands the material. You could bomb everything and get an A on the final and receive an A in the class. Take him!

Oh my gosh, take him!! He's so nice to everyone. He wants all his students to do well. I really wish I have him for another class!!

His homework isn't that hard since they're just problems from the text book. The midterms and final are easy if you study the HOMEWORK PROBLEMS and PRACTICE TESTS. You study those two things and you're guaranteed to do very well in the class.

Truly a wonderful Professor. I took astro 3 a little hesitantly because all of the reviews were about physics and I was unsure what his Astro 3 class would be like.
After the first lecture, I was confident that I was going to really enjoy the class. Professor Peroomian is clear, concise, fair, and articulate. His lectures are interesting, easy to understand, and his exams are more than fair. The homework can get a little long but it's not very difficult if you go to lecture and read the material. Hands down the best professor I have had thus far at my time at UCLA. The labs are tedious but not difficult but they are only worth 10% of your grade so getting a few points of here and there really won't do anything to your grade (losing one point is equivalent to losing something like .04 percent of your final grade). Take the class not because it is "easy." Take it because of Peroomian.

hands down the BEST professor here at UCLA. I have never given an evaluation but he deserves it. He cares so much about how YOU do, he offers redemption even after you bomb the midterms. If you get an A on the final, you get an A for the class. I bombed the first midterm but I got an A on the second midterm and final and got an A in his class. He is such a cool professor, no one can ever fall asleep in his class. His lectures are straightforward and he doesn't try to trick you. What you learn in class is what you will see on the tests. I encourage you to go to office hours if you are struggling. He is very nice, funny, caring professor. you can never find a better professor. I HATE physics no doubt about it and I have never taken any physics before. But Vahe is such a great guy and he makes it non torturous than it needs to be. you never have to do proof (he does it in class but you don't have to regurgitate that back on a test). TAKE HIM! TAKE HIM! TAKE HIM! you will see how great a professor he really is.

Great, great professor and class. His tests are very straightforward, styled just like the homework. Labs are not too complex and don't require any work outside of class. If you have a background in physics, this class is pretty much a guaranteed A. And yes, he'll give you an A in the class if you get an A on the final. Skipped all discussions and half the lectures (though he was excellent when I went), studied about an hour before the midterms and final, and coasted through with an A+. Take him above anyone else for physics - you won't find a more straightforward professor.
