Professor Gelbart is really friendly and helpful. The material is pretty difficult to get the hang of, but office hours made everything SO much easier. His problem sets are way harder than his tests because he wants to challenge you & make you go to office hours. His tests are really doable. The averages are pretty typical (mid 60s) but I couldn't really understand why they were so low since he prepares you so well for them. Overall, this class was one of my more enjoyable south campus classes especially considering the horror stories I heard about it!
He is too slow and drag all concepts to talk about one topic.
Namely, his lecture is not so straight forword.
I think he wants to be considered as a caring, thoughtful, kind, great, smart professor in front of his students.
But I kind of felt that that's fake.
