Not a class to be a slouch in, and from early on, make sure that you don't miss a beat - not being forgiving with assignment grading, and a rather arbitrary grading scale for her writing projects (check minus, check, check plus) might leave you wondering why you received the final grade you did. The bulk of the class is in B-range, with her reserving higher marks for the truly exemplary. If you make a claim in her class when you participate, make sure to back it up.
